It's our 90th year 2015

We Meet most Mondays at the Boys and Girls Club on Center St. in Santa Cruz at 7pm to 830pm.

Santa Cruz's Oldest Scout Troop.  We've been chartered by the Elks Lodge since 1925!

We had a great turnout for our 90th celebration.  Thank you to all our donors

and speakers.  We enjoyed the Hawaiian Dancers and all the history displays.

Snow Camping Feb 19-21, 2016 Dodge Ridge

We are planning on Snow Camping the weekend of Feb. 19 -2nts at Dodge Ridge.  Training is happining Jan and Feb.  Be sure to have all the proper gear and equipment so you will enjoy this outing.  This year we will have SNOW!  We are planning on departing on Friday Feb. 19th around  12pm and get to Pioneer Trail Campground around 4pm to set up camp.  We are planing on returning Sunday around 3pm. My Madonna Campout

We will be camping Nov 6-8 at Mt Madonna. Lots of things to do. Hiking, tenderfoot stuff, horse back riding and more. 

Boardwalk Overnight Oct 9-10

We will camp out on the Boardwalk Friday night.  Enjoying movies on the beach, arcade games, sand castle contests, skits and more With lots of scouts.  

Mountain Man at Pico Blanco

We had 6 scouts attend and 3 adults. We were at Blackfoot again and enjoyed good food, activities and won some prizes.  We received two candle lanterns for our campsite set up and 2nd place in the cast iron cook off where the scouts cooked duck for the judges. Riley participated in the Mountain Man Run and got the gold neck less for knot tying. Thanks to Alan Gere and Darth Russell for helping make this a very good weekend of scouting. 

Troop 674 Celebrates 90 Years of Scouting Aug 22, 2015

Well we had a good turnout last Saturday.  About 65 people showed their support of scouting and Troop 674. We enjoyed the displays, Hawaiian Dancers, different speakers and raised some money for goals. Thanks to all our donors. 

Summer Camp at Wolfeboro July 12-18, 2015

Well we had a great time.  Six scouts attended, earned some merit badges and ate a lot of candy.  The scouts did climbing, shotgun and rifle, swimming, canoe, tenderfoot and first class, music, art, citizenship, woodcarving etc.  next year we are shooting for Hawaii!
