It's our 90th year 2015

We Meet most Mondays at the Boys and Girls Club on Center St. in Santa Cruz at 7pm to 830pm.

Santa Cruz's Oldest Scout Troop.  We've been chartered by the Elks Lodge since 1925!

We had a great turnout for our 90th celebration.  Thank you to all our donors

and speakers.  We enjoyed the Hawaiian Dancers and all the history displays.

Shaffer Park April 16

We will meet at Shaffer Park on Saturday to work on scout requirements, totem and fireman chits, learn he proper flag ceremonies and other needed requirements. We will meet at 930am and run till 3 or 4.  We will cook our own lunches and learn how to build fires. Our Court of Honor is the last Monday in April so let's get our needed requirements done.  

Canepa Motorsports Tour

We had a group of our scouts and Dads tour the Canepa Motorsports facility in Scott's Valley the first Saturday of March. All were impressed with the different cars and custom trucks. They said it was very clean and really cool place and they all wanted to take home one of the cars. 

Snow Camping Feb 19-21, 2016 Dodge Ridge

Well we had a great time in the SNOW.  Scouts built a snow cabin and four scouts spent the night in it. We had one of our past Eagles Sam Muse join us and he built a snow cave and slept in it. Thanks to the Dads that joined us as we all had a great time.

My Madonna Campout

We will be camping Nov 6-8 at Mt Madonna. Lots of things to do. Hiking, tenderfoot stuff, horse back riding and more. 

Boardwalk Overnight Oct 9-10

We will camp out on the Boardwalk Friday night.  Enjoying movies on the beach, arcade games, sand castle contests, skits and more With lots of scouts.  

Mountain Man at Pico Blanco

We had 6 scouts attend and 3 adults. We were at Blackfoot again and enjoyed good food, activities and won some prizes.  We received two candle lanterns for our campsite set up and 2nd place in the cast iron cook off where the scouts cooked duck for the judges. Riley participated in the Mountain Man Run and got the gold neck less for knot tying. Thanks to Alan Gere and Darth Russell for helping make this a very good weekend of scouting.
